In Honor of Kenneth Frasse

On March 14, 2009, surrounded by his family, Kenneth Frasse passed away in San Jose, California, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 48 years old. Kenneth was born in San Francisco, California, on January 25, 1961, to his beloved parents Elizanne and Philip Frasse. He grew up in Sacramento and lived for most of his adult life in Mountain View. Kenneth was an incredible man who lived his life with courage, passion, humor, and great integrity. While he was challenged by childhood diabetes that left him blind in his twenties, Kenneth never let it stop him from accomplishing the many things he wanted to do in his lifetime. He traveled the world, was a gourmet cook, learned to speak three languages, sailed boats, was an avid music fan, played the piano and built a successful non-profit that helped visually impaired people regain their independence in the world. He served as the CEO of the Santa Clara Valley Blind Center and was instrumental in making extraordinary changes at the Center. Kenneth is survived by his wife Silvia Frasse, twin sister Arquelle Frasse, brother Philip, brother Frederic and his wife Jeanne Frasse, and nieces and nephews Kimberly, Lisa, Alex, Philip, Benjamin, Christopher and Sophia. Contributions in honor of Kenneth may be sent to the Santa Clara Valley Blind Center, 101 N. Bascom Avenue, San Jose CA 95128
